In Ancient Rome, the Lares Familiares were guardian spirits who looked after the welfare and safety of households. Fast forward 2,000 years and Lares Digital (pronounced Lah-Res) is the Deus Ex Machina looking after your property.
Where Romans had faith and belief, we use the Internet of Things and complex algorithms to ensure our spirits are always sharp, always welcoming and always looking after you.
Years of working for the Facilities Management (FM) industry have made us realise that the Receptionist function has evolved very little since it was invented. Whilst it is an important role establishing the status of your company or building, it is often a position that is underworked, particularly for the budget it demands.
Modern technology developments such as IoT are providing an opportunity to improve on both the productivity and the function itself, bringing together CCTV, Access Control and Visitor Management into one digital solution – with a human touch.
Rodolphe Mortreuil, Founder & CEO
Rodolphe is the passion and brains behind Lares Digital. His career has always been people focused. He started out at the not-for-profit American Field Service (AFS) where he worked to empower young people from all backgrounds with essential global skills and the passion for making a difference. He later moved into recruitment, first for a headhunting firm, and then running his own agency.
He worked for 8 years at OfficeAnyplace supporting the Commercial Facilities Management industry with their IT needs and was promoted to MD.
He founded Lares Digital in 2020.
Meet the team
Serial entrepreneur in the IT and Hospitality sectors, Nick funded the early product development of Lares Digital. Rodolphe and Nick have worked as suppliers to the Commercial Facilities Management industry in an IT capacity for a combined 30+ years.
Andrew is a former senior executive of Shell and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. He is a NED of several companies and has extensive business development experience. Amongst other accomplishments, he is an honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Sales Director – Property & Facilities Management
Adrian Allen is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience in UK commercial asset and property management. His experience includes setting up and running teams specialising in managing large office schemes, science parks and business parks.
As a former SVP of Oracle HCM Product Development, Clive has over 30 years of product development experience. He has in-depth knowledge of formulating product strategy, building and leading product teams, and delivering innovative solutions and go-to-market strategies.
