The Lares Digital receptionist creates a unique visitor experience. They offer personal and immediate greetings to any visitors, followed by a credentials check. They then provide access – or not! – to the site following the tailored instructions pre-arranged with the property manager.
Thanks to our staff working remotely they can better focus on providing a high-quality reception service, without the distractions which come from being onsite. They are connected to your Visitor Log, Access Controls and security functions to maintain communication lines between all the property’s stakeholders.
The Lares Digital reception service can be used as a primary reception service or to complement an existing onsite reception service by sharing functions or operating at different times. See Projects for an example of how this works in practice.
Lares Digital provides and manages a team of professional and highly trained receptionists. They receive training on your building layout, tenant locations and security systems.
We are fully responsible for management of this team and continuity of service. This removes you from the day to day management of staff including their annual leave, sick leave or any other HR related issues. You will no longer have the costs of staff overhaeads.

Lares Digital ensures that all packages and food deliveries reach their destination according to the building protocols. This will be done by either granting the delivery service access to the corresponding apartment or office, after verification, or by directing the delivery service to the designated drop off point.
The Lares Digital receptionists may vary throughout the day as we ensure there is always a receptionist available. However, over time it is likely tenants will see the same faces.
Our standard operating hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. However, our solutions can be tailormade to extended hours, evening and weekend cover.
Yes. We are happy to display your logo on the splash screen.
No we do not! The camera on our device is only live while a call is being made, and calls can only be initiated by the reception side.
We may take a snapshot of the visitor talking with us, which gets stored according to GDPR laws and gets deleted after a reasonable retention period (usually just a few weeks).

Our displays are available either to purchase or for rental. We can help you structure the cost in a way that is most appropriate to your budget.
In the event we are unable to operate, for example, if your internet provider suffers from an outage, the building will automatically revert to its standard operating mode pre-Lares: the access control system will keep on working. Your digital receptionist will not be reachable but your occupants will still be able to get in and out of the building as normal. The reception screen for your digital receptionist will show as “closed”.
When a problem is reported Lares Digital follows the pre-determined protocols or contacts the appropriate authorities.
Our offices are in Croydon, Surrey. Our staff may work from our video call centre or from their home office, depending on circumstances.
